A freelance contractor is an individual who enters into a fixed-term contract with a third party, (this could be direct with a Client offering the work or via an Employment Agency who have secured the assignment) either on their own or as an employee of a company to assist in the running or completion of a specific project.

Becoming a contractor, or freelance worker, brings risks – but it also brings benefits which some people find irresistible.
